This Wednesday, my neighbours were getting ready to move in and needed to set up their internet connection. They chose a company called More, but unexpectedly, my internet was disconnected without my consent, and Telstra allowed this to happen. By the time I received a text notification from Telstra, my service had already been canceled.
I quickly called Telstra's customer service, and anyone with experience knows how frustrating that can be. Later, I contacted customer service through the Telstra app, and they reconnected my internet, so I was back online.
However, by noon on Friday, my Telstra internet and NBN were cut off again by More (still without notifying me). So, I reached out to customer service via the Telstra app again (since they responded faster last time), but this time it took about two hours. They asked for all sorts of information and even tried to sell me other products (despite being a Telstra customer for almost ten years, they treated me like a new user with numerous questions).
After a lengthy communication, I expected my internet to be reconnected just like on Wednesday (I hadn't done anything wrong), but they switched to another customer service agent and started the process all over again. I was exhausted and a bit impatient. That's when it occurred to me to try a new company.
My wife reminded me of a company called Aussie Broadband, which reportedly offers good service and internet. We looked up some information online and found a promo code (as shown in the image) that could save us 50 AUD. Less than ten minutes after subscribing, I received an email from them confirming the registration. I then downloaded their app, resolved some issues, and within about half an hour, our internet was connected, and the speed was incredibly stable. I am very satisfied with the speed and service from Aussie Broadband, so I highly recommend them! If you need a promo code, remember to use the one in the image to save 50 AUD immediately.
